Fire Supression

The Melrose Park Fire Department is equipped with three front line fire engines, a fully equipped rescue squad and a state of the art Bronto Skylift aerial ladder. Our engine and ladder companies are kept up to date with continuing education, drills and training in the latest firefighting and rescue techniques. This insures that when the need arises an appropriate emergency response will be provided.

Approx. 18 full time firefighters are on duty everyday.
